Do you see any red flags with this Hyundai Tucson?

Apart from the fact that it's a bloody Hyundai Tucson of course.

Let's say that someone you know wants to buy a Tucson and they found this exact one. It's well priced and they send you this set of photographs to see if you can spot any red flags. Is there anything you'd mention to them?

Looks much cleaner than any other Tuscon I've seen.

It's nice... But it's in Poland.

Seriously though that is an unusually clean Korean car.

I've pretty much hated every Tucson I've been in. But there seems to be nothing wrong with this one.

Well, it's been valeted and had the tyres blackened but that's normal enough.

My sister had one of these, then she had kids and needed something bigger so now my mom drives it. It's a US spec with a V6. Been pretty good in terms of reliability, pain in the ass to change the spark plugs (have to remove the intake on the V6), and terribly boring to drive. It's not even that comfortable to me. The FWD is barely adequate in the snow and there is gobs of torque steer. Might be an issue if the 4WD badge on the door is legit; never seen that on a US model. Handling is sloppy. The 4 speed auto it it's weakest point; it gets confused way too easily for having only 4 gears. But this one's a manual. It's an ok car for regular folks, but since you're on Oppo, you'll probably hate it. Although this one could be fun being a diesel and manual... And you would avoid the lousy automatic. Looks pretty clean otherwise.

I'm not buying it, it's just a short experiment. I'll post part 2 of this post soon.

The 4x4 bit is legit.

You know it.

I've never had any problems with it. It's a straight-up good vehicle.
